LAYTIME & DEMURRAGE

Turn a statement of facts into an auditable time sheet

Set the charter terms, enter each port call, then mark intervals that count at a different percentage.

Fixture & terms

Use the agreed recap and charter party. This worksheet does not decide whether an NOR is valid.

Choose the treatment expressly agreed in your charter party. The first option applies once time is on demurrage.

Rates are per consecutive 24 hours. Enter the negotiated despatch rate explicitly, including 0 if no despatch applies. The model values all remaining allowance as time saved; check the contract’s despatch basis.

02

Port calls & Statement of Facts

Enter local clock times with a fixed UTC offset for each call. The interval from commencement to completion counts at 100% unless an entered SOF interval overrides it.

Convert timestamps to a consistent offset if the port clock changes during a call. Record waiting, stoppages, holidays, or other exclusions as intervals only when your contract gives them that treatment. Intervals cannot overlap.
