UK ETS DOMESTIC MARITIME

Estimate UK allowances

Enter fuel and activity for each UK voyage or port stay. Review the scope yourself; ports alone cannot determine whether a call or an exemption qualifies.

01

Reporting basis

UK domestic maritime has applied since 1 July 2026.

The tool screens the 5,000 GT threshold and the 2026 offshore start date. Select “Excluded ship / all activities” only if the exemption covers every row. For an individual exempt activity, keep the applicable ship type and mark that row “Outside UK ETS scope.” Check the statutory exclusions yourself.

02

Fuel and activity

Each row represents one fuel grade consumed in one activity. Repeat the activity for additional grades.

GB–Northern Ireland voyages report 100% of emissions but receive a 50% surrender deduction. UK port stays remain fully covered, even when the preceding voyage began abroad. Enter CH₄ and N₂O as tonnes CO₂e using your verified conversion method, or 0 explicitly.
